1. Day 01

   Muscat & Jabal Akhdar

   Arrive at Muscat International Airport and meet your driver-guide. Travel inland and ascend to Jabal Akhdar, Oman's famous "Green Mountain", known for its cooler climate, dramatic valleys, terraced farms and traditional villages.

2. Day 02

   Jabal Akhdar

   Begin the day with Jabal Akhdar's scenic Three-Village Walk, following mountain trails that connect traditional settlements set among terraced farms and orchards, with impressive views of the surrounding valleys. Later, visit a local farm to learn about traditional mountain agriculture and the seasonal crops of Oman's Green Mountain.

   

   Day 02 Activities

   • Experience the Three-Village Walk through traditional settlements, terraced farms, orchards and canyon views
   • Return to the hotel around midday and relax by the swimming pool
   • In the afternoon, visit a local farm and learn about mountain agriculture and seasonal crops

3. Day 03

   Jabal Akhdar

   Set out on an adventurous trek through the rugged terrain of Jabal Akhdar to the Lost Village, where winding trails reveal sweeping views across deep valleys, dramatic cliffs and remote settlements hidden within the Al Hajar Mountains.

   

   Day 03 Activities

   • Full-day Lost Village Trek through rugged mountain terrain (approx. 6–8 hours)
   • Views of deep valleys, remote settlements and the dramatic Al Hajar Mountains
   • Picnic lunch served during the walk
   • Return to the hotel following the trek and relax

   The trek lasts approximately 6–8 hours over uneven, steep and rocky ground. A reasonable level of fitness and good hiking shoes are required.

4. Day 04

   Nizwa, Jabrin, Wadi Ghul & Jabal Shams

   Journey to Nizwa, Oman's historic former capital, to wander its souq and photograph the fort, then explore the elegant Jabrin Castle. Continue past Wadi Ghul and ascend Jabal Shams, Oman's highest mountain, for spectacular views over the Grand Canyon of Oman.

   

   Day 04 Activities

   • Depart Jabal Akhdar and travel to Nizwa
   • Visit Nizwa Souq, known for handicrafts, pottery, silverware, spices, dates and local produce
   • Stop outside Nizwa Fort for photographs
   • Explore Jabrin Castle's rooms, courtyards, defensive features, Arabic inscriptions and decorated ceilings
   • Continue towards Jabal Shams, stopping for photographs at Wadi Ghul
   • Arrive at Jabal Shams and take in spectacular views over the Grand Canyon of Oman

5. Day 05

   Jabal Shams & Wahiba Sands

   Begin high in the mountains with the famous Balcony Walk along the canyon's edge, with panoramic views across immense cliffs and deep valleys. Then leave the cool heights behind for the golden dunes of Wahiba Sands and dinner beneath the vast Arabian sky.

   

   Day 05 Activities

   • Experience the famous Balcony Walk at Jabal Shams along the canyon's edge
   • Depart the mountains and proceed to Wahiba Sands
   • Travel across the desert dunes to reach the camp
   • Enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere, followed by dinner

6. Day 06

   Wadi Bani Khalid & Ras Al Hadd

   Journey to Wadi Bani Khalid for a refreshing swim in its natural pools, then continue to the coast at Ras Al Hadd, where the desert meets the Arabian Sea. In the evening, join a guided turtle-watching excursion — summer is among the best times to see nesting turtles.

   

   Day 06 Activities

   • Depart Wahiba Sands and travel to Wadi Bani Khalid
   • Swim in the natural pools, subject to local conditions and safety guidance
   • Continue to Ras Al Hadd, check in and relax on the beach
   • Evening turtle-watching excursion (sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed)

   Turtle nesting and hatching are natural events and cannot be guaranteed. Follow the guide, stay quiet and avoid flash photography.

7. Day 07

   Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Mibam & Muscat

   Drive through scenic Wadi Tiwi to Wadi Mibam to discover natural pools and cascading waterfalls among dramatic rock formations, with a swim and a picnic lunch before returning towards Muscat — or continuing on a beach or Salalah extension.

   

   Day 07 Activities

   • Depart Ras Al Hadd and drive through Wadi Tiwi to Wadi Mibam
   • Explore the wadi and swim in its natural pools and waterfalls, subject to weather, water levels and safety conditions
   • Picnic lunch served during the excursion
   • Return towards Muscat, or continue on an optional Muscat beach or Salalah extension

   Allow enough time for the wadi excursion and the drive to Muscat before your flight. A late-evening flight or an extra Muscat night is recommended.
